Scrappy pineapple quilt finish

 

I had a little trouble finding a flat spot to take a picture of this big king size quilt.  I absolutely love how it turned out.  It took me 5 years of on and off sewing to get it done.  Felt good to use up some scrap binding pieces and it made the finish happy!

The binding are the scraps from the opposite quilt back scraps.

Steampunk cog quilt finished

 

This quilt is for my husband's friend.  They joke around that they should get tattoos together of  "COG"  creepy old guys.  Now that they're both over the hill.

Got it cut in a night and sewn the next day.  Took it to my favorite quilter...Doreen.  she had it done in a flash!  The thread is perfect!

I like that I used up most of the scraps for a back.
