I love flying geese but I hate to make them.

I didn't have enough 2 1/2 inch squares in red already cut so I had to take the time to cut a few more.  So worth it.  Still playing catch up for January's challenge.  Looking forward to a little bit of yellow for March.  I don't have as many yellow scraps so I broke down and bought a couple to mingle with the others.

Made from 2 1/2 inch squares and a 4 1/2 for the center.

Red, white and blue quilt finish

 

This quilt was on my list for a lot of years.  I saw the pattern in a magazine and bought the fabric and then it sat.  It feels so good to get it done!

The backing was a quick wide back.

I'm so excited about using up my scraps!  I can't wait to find out what color next month will be.

These are just parts that will go into a block later.
