RSC February block #3

 Still using this block as my leaders and enders.  Trying to use mostly the color of the month as I go along.

They still need to be trimmed.

Here they are with last month's blue blocks.  I'm liking it so far and they're super easy blocks to do every month.

I like to start out with making a big dent in my scrap bin.  These strip rows go very fast.  It feels really good to be using up some of those scraps that have been around a while.  Makes me think I have room to buy more new fabric!   Yay!  Going on a quilt shop road trip this weekend!

RSC 2022 finished flimsy

 Scrappy stars with alternating solid blocks for I spy.  This is for my 3 year old granddaughter.   I hope she loves it.

I really enjoyed joining in for my first RSC.  Definitely playing along again this year!

This month's blue strips for my x block quilt.  I think I made about 2 a month last year but I need more so this block is rolling over to RSC 2023.

7 blue blocks done for this month.  I like how they're looking!  I've wanted to do this quilt for a while but it seemed overwhelming...until the RSC came along!

Not a very exciting picture.  I love how quick these strips go together.  It will make a fun rainbow quilt later this year!  If I feel up to it, I might make a second row for a second quilt.  I'll see where I'm at with scraps.
